Cindy O’Connell – Chief Financial Officer

A native of Pendleton, Oregon, Cindy settled in Portland after graduating from George Fox University. As an audit manager with over nine years of public accounting experience, she provides auditing and accounting expertise for distributors, manufacturers, and non-profit organizations.

Cindy enjoys playing golf, tennis, boating, or pretty much any outdoor activity. She is active in the Portland 4word Local Group and volunteers on leadership teams at her church and with other charitable organizations.

Trina Lee – Mentor Program Coordinator

Trina is excited to connect professional women together as the 4word Mentor Program Coordinator. Since December 2011, she has been involved with 4word: Portland and has been blessed by the relationships she’s made. After graduating from Cornell University with a bachelor’s in communication, Trina worked for over nine years as the Executive Director for Oregon DECA, an education nonprofit for students interested in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon and is the Sponsorship Program Manager for Africa New Life Ministries, which is transforming the lives of over 7,000 children in Rwanda, Africa. When not working, Trina most likely can be found running, serving on a book launch team, concert going, podcast listening or tweeting.

Richelle Campbell – General Counsel

Richelle grew up on a farm in Southern Oregon and now works as a mom and a lawyer in Dallas, Texas. She has degrees from Princeton University and Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.

Jordan Johnstone – Content Manager

Jordan writes and coordinates the weekly 4word blogs and emails. When not writing for 4word, Jordan enjoys working on her latest book idea, catching up on the latest episode of Supernatural and going “Pin crazy” on Pinterest. Jordan holds a BS in Advertising and Public Relations from Liberty University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. She lives in Grayson, Georgia, with her husband, DJ, and their son, Dean.

Lisa DeLuca Sack – Manager of Operations and Human Resources

Lisa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tarleton State University (a division of Texas A&M). Lisa has a passion for helping others and loves applying this passion at 4word, where she can be a part of connecting, leading, and supporting women in the workplace to help them achieve their God-given potential. Lisa also enjoys cooking, painting, volunteering, riding her horse, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She likes to live her life according to this motto: “Be a lamp, a lifeboat, or a ladder.”



Caitie Butler – Church Connect Program Manager

Caitie is passionate about the mission of 4word to connect working women and empower them in the workplace, at home, and in the church. She loves seeing young women in particular discover and pursue their calling. She has spent her career as a communications professional working primarily in state politics and public affairs. A born-and-raised Oregonian, Caitie graduated from Portland State University and is currently pursuing an MA in Communication from Johns Hopkins University. She and her husband recently relocated to Southwest Montana where they enjoy 360-degree mountain views and unlimited access to hiking, fishing and camping. Caitie’s motto comes from author and philanthropist Bob Goff: “Organizations have programs. People have friends. Friends trump programs every time.



Sandy Swider – Director of New York City Local Group

Sandy Swider has a passion for developing meaningful brands and engaged leaders. Her 25-year career in the hospitality field has taken her from front-line operations in stand-alone hotels to setting and executing global strategies at Starwood Hotels, a recognized leader in lifestyle branding. Now, as a principal of consulting firm Swider & Co, she is dedicated to helping high-performing leaders make a positive difference in the world. Sandy holds a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State University, is trained as a professional leadership coach by the Coaches Training Institute and is certified as a Halftime Coach focused on taking leaders from Success to Significance.


Kayla Asbury – Development Assistant

A Portland, Oregon native, Kayla Asbury is currently obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing at Corban University in Salem, Oregon. Since high school, Kayla has actively promoted companies she believes in like TOMS Shoes, a business that has provided millions of shoes to children in need, which had sparked her passion and commitment to use business as a tool to advocate for global social issues. Since then, Kayla has completed ​internships at TOMS Shoes, Micah Challenge International and Africa Inland Mission. She will be graduating Spring 2017.  Kayla enjoys spontaneous weekend adventures exploring the Pacific Northwest, sipping Stumptown coffee, documenting her pursuits through her Instagram account, and serving as a high school leader at her church.


Miriam Morales – Operations Intern

Miriam is a native of Dallas. She has been playing the piano for 20 years and teaching for 10. She is the owner of Music with Miriam, which provides private music instruction in the Park Cities area. She attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where she studied classical and jazz piano. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas in Arlington and a Masters Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Apart from music, she enjoys decorating, baking and great conversation.


Sierra Jones – Development Intern

Although born and raised in a small town in Texas, Sierra has aspirations to move to the big city after she completes her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and International Business at Tarleton State University in December 2016. While finishing up her degree, Sierra also works part-time for Foster’s Home for Children as the Assistant Vice President of Physical Plant at the Stephenville campus. Sierra has a desire to change the world through her gift of compassion, and love for helping others. Her excitement to change the world, combined with her interest in public relations and event management, is how she found 4word Women. Here she gets to put her passion to work as the development intern while making a difference in the lives of women all over the world.
